A PRAYER
O God you are the Maker of everything that was, and is, and ever will be—including us and you love everything that you make, including us, even though we’re not yet the people you want us to become.
So whether we are young, old, or in-between we give thanks for each other but most of all we give thanks for your love that we see most clearly of all in Jesus Christ, your Son.
Help us this day to realise how much you do love us so that throughout this week we may celebrate with joyful thanks and faithful service, through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN
