Intimations – Sunday 9th June

PRAYER Primary 7 transition work

God, please help the primary sevens who are making the journey into S1. We pray that they will settle well into High School and make new friends. We hope that they will be the best that they can be and have a successful future at Secondary School. Amen

TRAIDCRAFT The stall will be in its usual spot in the large hall after the morning service. We are well-stocked this week and have both chocolate and yogurt raisins in stock as promised. Why not come and have a look at what we have. Every purchase you make helps to make trade fairer for small producers in developing countries. Thank you for your continued support.

TREKKERS Saturday 15th June 2019Leaving Carluke St. Johns at 9.00 am

Aberdour to Burntisland(Section of Fife Costal Path)

From the car park on the outskirts of Aberdour we walk towards the harbour where we will join the this section of the Fife Coastal Path

The path runs more or less parallel with the shoreline/east coast railway line.  From here there are great views across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh with Arthur’s Seat and Salisbury Crags prominent.   Carrying on we will soon reach the seaside town of Burntisland.  We return to Aberdour using the same route.

This is a flat linear walk, total distance just short of 8 miles, using good footpaths, although can be uneven and rocky in places.

Anyone wishing to go (or require more information) contact Rae on  07762905625 or by email raewarnock@aol.com . New Trekkers always welcome.
