Intimations for Sunday 19th May

Heart and Soul Sunday United service at St John’s Church at 11.00am. Bus leaves at 12.15pm and returns immediately after worship at 6.00pm

WELCOME TO KIRKTON As we strive to provide a welcoming environment for all who worship here, all can play a part. Those who have worshipped here for many years can be kind and considerate to “new faces”, speaking to them and making room for them if they appear uncertain or hesitant when looking for somewhere to sit. Newcomers or visitors should feel free to speak to anyone, in particular our Welcoming Elder.

PLEASE PRAY THIS PRAYER EACH DAY

Pray for the General Assembly which started yesterday and will continue until Saturday. Pray for vision, wisdom and guidance for all the important decisions to be made this week and for the ministers and elders in attendance that they will be blessed and glorify God’s will and goodness.

PARKING – please park considerately. Due to the need to preserve the root network of the tree at the main door of the church in conjunction with safety issues for pedestrians, vehicles dropping off or picking up individuals are kindly asked to do this from Station Road.

TRAIDCRAFT The stall will be set up in the large hall after the morning service.  The range is wider than in recent months so do please come and take a look at what’s on offer.  If no one is manning the stall just help yourself and come back next week to complete the sale.  Thank you for your support over many years.
