Intimations for Sunday 13th October

PowerPoint Presentation

PRAYER 13th October – Prayer

Loving heavenly Father, we ask for a spirit of prayer to come upon our Church. Increase our longing for you. Let us see how powerless we are without your grace. Give confidence to those starting out in ‘Conversation’ with you, give them confidence to be themselves when talking to you. For those of us who have slipped away from our time with you, help us to regain that intimacy and depth. We give you thanks.

TRAIDCRAFT  The stall will be up in the large hall after the morning service on Sunday 13 and Sunday 20 October but will not be running on 27 October due to staffing issues.  We hope to have copies of the new catalogue by the 20th; feel free to borrow one and take time to have a look at what’s on offer in addition to what’s on the stall.  We can order in anything you see there with no obligation to buy if it doesn’t match your expectations.

We also have copies of Dr Ann Jackson’s Journal – Last Doctor Out of Biafra – on sale for only £10.  This would make a lovely gift!

CLYDESDALE FOOD BANK

Nice short list this week:- biscuits.  No doubt this state of affairs won’t last long so we are always happy to receive any dried or tinned foods, household or personal hygiene items.

Have a look at our new website – http://clydesdalefoodbank.org.uk/ where you will an easy way to give a financial donation.  Alternatively, there are envelopes available in all of the churches for one off donations and standing orders.
